Therapy or Coaching?

If you have been searching for a therapist and your symptoms are in the mild-moderate range, consider mental health coaching as your best alternative. Coaching is a personalized, pro- active approach to your mental well-being that can give you the confidence and flexibility to navigate challenging life circumstances. In addition, mental health coaching helps people who simply feel stuck or are looking for their next place of growth. Coaching is about being MORE of who you are and getting MORE out of your life, work, and play.

How does it work?

  • I partner with you to set goals and then set a course to achieve them, we periodically review our progress and pivot as needed to stay on track

  • I provide guidance and tools along the way so that you can navigate future situations independently

  • I ask thought provoking questions to assist you in unlocking your own answers

  • I can be a source of accountability as well as your greatest supporter

  • My practice is primarily based in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with influences from (dialectic behavior therapy (DBT), behavioral activation (BA), and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT)
